“Defense”. They might disagree
about whether or not to
stick refugees in cages
but wholeheartedly
they agree that we will keep
creating these refugees,
that we will keep stocks
like Raytheon climbing up
higher and higher
that we’ll make sure the
war economy never
expires, 18 years now
still going strong, 18 years
and we couldn’t be more wrong
but we still sing along, we
have never questioned the song
never questioned the war drums
never lock the door
when the taxman comes
so we can kill more poor and
toss our people crumbs
and 90 drummers stood up
today and there were only
8 people who walked
another way and said ‘you
played businessman yesterday,
you shouldn’t get to play Risk
