It’s terribly insulting
to refer to the American people
as sheep.
We had to catch
our sheep today
because it was hoof-trimming day
and parasiticide day
and the sheep knew what was up
they always know
if we’re trying to catch them…
the goats realize
that we’re not going to hurt them
and they walk right up to us
the goats are more like dogs
but the sheep don’t trust us
and they are always thinking
a few steps ahead of us.
They’re smart,
and quick on their feet.
Sheep are so much more intelligent
than we give them credit for
and faster
and stronger.
Stop calling Americans sheep
or ‘sheeple’
sheep deserve so much more respect
than that.
Sheep don’t trust anyone
and they would know if a wolf
was playing dress-up.
Americans trust wolves
more than anyone,
we worship them.
I have so much more respect
for sheep
than I have for the American people
This blasphemy must end!
